Our Self-Build Basic Training Course is a one-day, hands-on workshop designed for owner builders, DIY enthusiasts and anyone who wants to have a basic understanding of FinnBUILDER building method. Led by experienced trainers at our Johannesburg Training Centre in Fourways, this six hour session covers how the FinnBUILDER moulds work in order to build quality walls and pillars.

What You’ll Learn:

• How the FinnBUILDER Moulds system work
• Stripping, assembly, and setup of the moulds
• Mixing, placing, compacting, and moving the moulds correctly
• Material selection and mix proportions for strength and quality
• Calculating quantities for cost-effective building
• Setting up building lines and site layout
• Curing and bonding techniques using a wet joint
• Plaster float and plaster skim for a smooth, professional finish
• How to use the Pillar Mould for boundary and security walls
• Construction of retaining walls
